Salah Punathil is a Sociologist and Assistant Professor at the Centre for Regional Studies,
University of Hyderabad, India. He has completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the
Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity, Gottingen, Germany. He
has taught Sociology at Tezpur University and Delhi School of Economics, before joining
Hyderabad. His research interests include ethnic violence, migration, citizenship, Muslims in
South Asia and the intersection of archives and ethnography. In 2019, Routledge published

Sudheesh Kottembram is a Poet, Illustrator and Art Critic based in Kerala. His projects primarily engage with the vernacular idea of art and literature, contemporaneity and cultural praxis. Four books are in his credit: Nashtadeshangalude Kala, (Kerala Lalithakala Akademi, 2009), Shareerasametham Marine Drivil (DC Books, 2012), Chilanthinritham (DC Books, 2021), Quarantine Notes: Thadankal dinangalile Kalachinthakal (Current Books, 2021).
